The Red Cross depends on financial donations to be able to provide disaster relief immediately. Help people affected by Hurricane Harvey by visiting, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting the word HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

BakerRipley - 2 posts

BakerRipley has an important role in disasters. After the flood waters from Harvey recede, we are responsible for assistance with long term recovery. Working in collaboration with other agencies, we pick up after the initial emergency responders and work on helping people restart their lives.

Houston Food Bank - 1 post

Our neighbors urgently need assistance. The Houston Food Bank’s greatest need is for funds that will help us provide relief and continue recovery efforts. Donations will be used for disaster relief until this year’s needs are met, and the remaining funds will support ongoing hunger-relief efforts.

Parkway Fellowship church has become a distribution point for many necessary items and is providing a variety of services to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

Samaritan's Purse - 1 post

Two Samaritan's Purse disaster relief units are now in Texas to help residents as they continue to struggle with rain, flooding, and destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey. Soon we will have a total of five of these tractor trailers in the state, setting up volunteer bases around Victoria, Rockport/Portland, Galveston/Santa Fe, and two in Houston.

Texas Diaper Bank - 1 post

100% of every donation will go to disaster relief efforts along the Texas coast. Diapers and other items will be distributed to shelters in the affected areas over the course the next several weeks. Donations will continue to go towards post-recovery efforts to families that have been displaced long-term.
